Ria holds the position of Project Ecologist and has a degree in Ecology and Environmental Biology from University College Cork. She has over three years’ experience working mainly in the areas of environmental assessment and surveying and monitoring ecologically sensitive areas. Since joining TOBIN in early 2019, Ria has worked on a range of projects carrying out a variety of surveys including, habitat, mammal, bat, and breeding bird surveys. Ria’s experience also includes report writing where she has been the author of many TOBIN reports including Appropriate Assessment Screening reports, Natura Impact Statements, Evaluation reports, and Ecological Management Plans.

In her spare time, Ria enjoys playing rugby, hiking and travelling.
