Michael is a Director of TOBIN Consulting Engineers. He graduated initially from the Galway and Sligo Institutes of Technology in 1992 and 1993 respectively and followed this with a degree in civil engineering from NUI Galway in 1996. His qualifications were later complemented with a Masters Degree in Engineering Science and worked in NUIG’s soils laboratory before joining TOBIN in 1999. Michael also fulfills the role of Commercial Director in TOBIN, with special responsibility for safety & health, quality assurance and risk management throughout the business and is nothing but energetic and passionate about delivering all aspects of his work.

Outside of work, Michael is a keen gardener who takes pride in the variable and seasonal look of all his beds and borders. While happy to de-stress amongst his own weeds, shrubs and flower beds, Michael’s main aim is to avoid the trees and bunkers on his local golf course and maintain his handicap in the single figures for as long as possible!
