Damien is a Chartered Engineer and currently holds the position of Director of Business Development/CSO. Damien has over twenty years’ experience in the project management of major infrastructural projects and the management of multi-disciplinary environmental and engineering teams, primarily in the fields of energy, waste management and extractive industries.

His primary expertise lies in driving large projects from inception through to planning approval and construction, including the preparation of inception reports, feasibility studies, detailed design, assessment of alternatives, site selection reports, route selection reports, environmental impact statements, planning and waste licence applications and contract documents.

A significant number of the projects which Damien has managed have involved extensive public consultation entailing briefing forums, stakeholder workshops and statutory consultations which were prepared and conducted in a manner to gather maximum feedback on the project. Damien has also managed and appeared as an expert technical witness at a significant number of Oral Hearings.

Outside of work, Damien is an avid taxi driver for his four sport-mad kids and coaches both football and rugby teams at the underage level.
