Pat is a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Technical Director in our Roads and Transportation Division having joined TOBIN in November 2004. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering and an M.Sc. from Sligo IT and an IMI/UCC accredited Diploma in Management. He has over 20 years of experience in the design and construction of large infrastructural projects encompassing large utilities, water services and roadworks projects. His most recent projects include design services and traffic management associated with Galway City outdoor dining, Project Manager and lead designer on Galway City Centre pedestrianised zone and streetscape upgrade, Dunkellin Flood Relief Scheme including roads/bridges/embankment and river enhancement works. One of Pat’s most notable projects of late was as Employers’ Representative and PM for Irish Water working on the watermain rehabilitation through the heart of Swords, Co. Dublin. This project won the 2020 ACEI ‘Project Management’ Project of the Year Award.
Outside of work, Pat follows Connacht rugby “20:10 in 2016”, Galway Football and Hurling “Muintir Na Gaillimhe” and the Irish Soccer Team heavily influenced by Euro ‘88 and Italia ‘90 Ole Ole.
