A very enjoyable time was had at Mary Help of Christians Girls National School (Dublin) during Science Week, where Director Siobhan Tinnelly and Associate Director/Lead Ecologist Laura Kennedy engaged with the Senior Infants class, delving into various topics such as wind farms, solar farms and bat detection studies!
Witnessing the enthusiasm and curiosity of these 5/6-year-olds reaffirms why we visit schools—to inspire and encourage students to pursue STEM careers, and, of course, to have fun while learning!
A big thank you to Principal Moran and Senior Infants Teacher Ms. Dooley for the warm welcome and for allowing us to participate in Science Week with the class.
