It has been an exciting few days for Connacht Rugby and the medical device company Dexcom with the recent announcement of their partnership for the naming rights of The Connacht Rugby Sportsground, which will now be known as ‘Dexcom Stadium’.
As a company with a long-standing relationship with Connacht Rugby, TOBIN is thrilled to be a part of the 2nd phase of this development providing a range of services including Technical advisory Role, Employers Representative/Project Management, Structural Design, Civil Design, Assigned Certifier, PSDP, and BIM services.
Since this project’s inception, TOBIN has worked closely with Connacht Rugby to bring the project to this point including the recent delivery of Phase 1 of the project.
We are now excited to continue the collaborate with our design team partners, AFL Architects, VHA – Vincent Hannon Architects, Don O’ Malley & Partners Consulting Engineers, Cunnane Stratton Reynolds, Allegro Acoustics and Jensen Hughes on the next stage of this development plan which includes the construction of a new high-performance centre, a new Spectator Stand with terracing and seated areas over 4 levels, and a new concourse area next to the new Spectator Stand.
This project will truly be transformative for Connacht Rugby and the whole province.
We also look forward to working together with Conack Construction to deliver this fantastic project for the wider region.
