Brendan Heaney, Technical Director and James Quinn, Design Civil Engineer, recently attended the grand opening of ‘The Robe’, the impressive new stablestaff restaurant at Ballinrobe Racecourse.
The event saw the presence of Bernard Caldwell, CEO of the Irish Stablestaff Association, John Flannelly, Manager of Ballinrobe Racecourse, and Kenneth Murphy, Chairman of Ballinrobe Racecourse, along with representatives from Sheridan Contractors and Lydon House Catering. Our team provided project management, civil, structural, and quantity surveying services on this project, and we’d also like to mention CBS Consulting Engineers who were the M&E Consultants.
The debut of this restaurant marks a substantial investment in the well-being and comfort of the stablestaff, who are integral to the success of the racing industry. The facility has been thoughtfully designed to offer a warm and inviting space for those who work tirelessly behind the scenes, acknowledging and appreciating their invaluable contributions.
On behalf of TOBIN, we want to extend our best wishes to Ballinrobe Racecourse for the successful launch of their new restaurant and for
the promising times ahead.
