Brendan Heaney, Technical Director, had the honour of attending the official opening of the extended walkway at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence, where Alan Dillon TD performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
TOBIN has been involved with Connacht GAA from the very start, and it’s incredibly rewarding to witness the continuous improvements to this fantastic facility. The new walkway extension recently completed by John Madden & Sons Ltd, increases the current path around the Centre’s perimeter to 2.2 kilometres, providing the community with a safe and scenic area for exercise. Prenty John and Kurt Reinhardt have been instrumental in the ongoing development of the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence.
This project was made possible thanks to the unwavering support from the Department of Rural and Community Development and Mayo County Council. The Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence now welcomes nearly 200,000 visitors each year, serving as a significant boost for the region.
Congratulations to everyone involved in this milestone achievement.
