The Residential and Commercial Development at Monivea Road, Galway for Greenway Properties Ltd. includes the construction of 54 No. 3 and 4- bedroom timber frame dwellings in addition to a commercial development and all associated civil works including roads, footways etc. These houses are finished to the highest of standards and will be A rated BER properties. TOBIN Consulting Engineers was responsible for the design of the foul, storm water and roads elements of the project, including obtaining connection agreements with Irish Water in a number of phases. Each phase required a separate Irish waster connection agreement and handover package that allowed handover to the client.
TOBIN is also Assigned Certifier on this project and is responsible for submissions of all BCAR and commencement notice documents as required by the Local Authority Building Control Department. This allows for phased commencement and phased completion documentation for handover of the project phase by phase. TOBIN Consulting Engineers was responsible for detailed civil and structural specifications and drawings with specified structure and weathering details to ensure proper construction methods during construction.
