In this project, TOBIN was tasked with identifying suitable land banks in the Dublin area, cognisant of the factors that has made Dublin the leading Irish hub for life science, biopharma, and other major industries..
Following the Project Scoping meeting with our client, we commenced in the collation of available data sets, including primarily publicly available datasets such as Corine land use, topography, utilities data, environmental designations (SAC/SPA etc.), flood history, land use zoning and other key datasets. A key element of the identification of suitable land banks in Dublin was also assessing the development potential of the lands through the investigation of extensive baseline data and statistics.
The strong communication between our nominated Project Manager and the client’s point of contact has been a key success factor in the efficient running of the project programme.
