The Department of Transport through the National Transport Authority is providing funding for the Green-Schools ‘Safe Routes to Schools’ Programme and this initiative is building on the excellent collaborative work, completed to date between Galway City Council and key stakeholders on the School Streets project.
Our lead Design Team Members who recently completed CPD training on the updated Safe Routes to School’s Design Guide 2021, as part of the Active Travel Series facilitated by Engineers Ireland are delighted to be working on such an exciting project within our own city.
