Eirene VarghesePlanner - Environment & Planning

    Eirene is a qualified Planner within the Environment & Planning Division at our Dublin Office. She is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and holds a master’s degree in Regional and Urban Planning from University College Dublin (UCD) with a bachelor’s degree in architecture.

    With over four years of post-graduate experience, she has demonstrated expertise in the preparation and submission of various planning applications, including amendment, retention and substitute consent applications. Her work encompasses the preparation of planning reports, environmental impact assessment (EIA) chapters, EIA screening reports and planning and environmental considerations reports (PECR) for a diverse range of projects, including renewable energy and electricity projects, water infrastructure projects, quarries, and housing developments. In addition to her experience with planning applications, she has been involved in projects at the pre-planning stage. This includes pre-application consultations with planning authorities and conducting planning feasibility studies for renewable energy projects.

    She is also proficient in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), which she has utilized to produce social infrastructure audits, school demand audits, childcare demand assessments, and other geospatial data visualisation reports and mapping.
