A member of the Building & infrastructure Division, Michael joined TOBIN in 2015 with previous experience in the private sector with an international firm. Michael studied locally in Galway and graduated with a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from NUI Galway. Having worked on a multitude of projects from inception through construction and handover, Michael has experience in the design of civil infrastructure, site development works, fire safety, disability access and general building works. Michael has also been involved with the coordination and preparation of planning applications and tenders for the procurement of contractors with a comprehensive knowledge of the procedures associated with both. He has been involved with projects ranging from small to large scale including residential / commercial developments, airport infrastructure and industrial developments.

Away from the office music is one of Michael’s main pastimes, gigging weekly with a local band in Galway City. He enjoys following all sports particularly GAA and Rugby, catching a Connacht game in the Sportsground at every opportunity.
