Tom joined TOBIN in 2015, having previously worked with a number of engineering practices in Ireland. Tom is a Chartered Engineering with Engineers Ireland since 2008 and has 23 years’ experience in the industry. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in 2000 from the University of Dundee, Scotland and has worked in the engineering consultancy sector since graduation. In 2015 Tom obtained an MSc in Environmental Safety & Health from Dublin Institute of Technology. He has gathered a wide range of experience in the industry including civil engineering design, project management, health and safety / PSDP, procurement, contract management and site supervision.
Tom holds the position of Technical Director in the Building and Infrastructure Division, and his role involves the management of the Structural, Project Management / QS and Health & Safety / Technical Advisory Teams together with contributing to the growth of the team and the division.
He has a keen interest in all sports, particularly hurling, soccer and rugby. Originally from Limerick, he is a keen follower of Limerick Hurling. In addition to this, Tom enjoys spending downtime with his family and coaching hurling and soccer for underage Teams.
